Iowa-distilledĀ Revelton Honey VodkaĀ pairs with sweet jalapeno to carefully balance the drinkās sharp, fresh ginger and jalapeno heat.
Topped with fresh jalapeno, the Fireside Mule is perfect for warming up on cold nights.
Ingredients
1.5 oz Honey vodka
1 oz Fresh lemon juice
2 Candied Jalapeno slices
1 Jalapeno pepper
Directions
- Slice the fresh jalapeno and remove the seeds
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle two candied jalapeno slices in the lemon juice using the back of a spoon
- Add the vodka, simple syrup, and a couple of ice cubes
- Shake and strain into a cocktail glass
- Top with seltzer (to taste) and garnish with a fresh jalapeno slice
Notes
- Because the candied jalapenos and simple syrup are made in batches, this recipe can easily be multiplied and made in a pitcher — perfect for a crowd!
- If using regular vodka, make a syrup of 3:1 honey to water. Add at the end of the mixing process. Adjust to taste.
