servingsThe Apple Vintage was inspired by our Mom’s apple cranberry pie. We have it every Thanksgiving, and it’s perfect for the holidays.
We decided to put a spin on a classic old-fashioned, adding cranberry-cinnamon syrup and apple juice to the base recipe.
Ingredients
2 oz whiskey of your choice (we used TX)
3/4 oz apple juice
1/4 oz cranberry simple syrup
1/4 oz cinnamon simple syrup
1 dash Angostura bitters
Toothpicks, apple slices, and ground cinnamon for garnish
Directions
- Add simple syrups, apple juice, and bitters to the glass. Stir to mix.
- Add 2 ounces of whiskey and your preferred ice. Stir well
- Garnish with a couple of skewered apple slices
- Add a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, serve, and enjoy!
